Archived Units shows archived inventory lots for discontinued items. Each row is an archived lot record, not one row per item. From this page you can search, filter, export, amend archived lot details, and return eligible lots to active inventory.
| Task | How |
|---|---|
| Open Archived Units | Open Inventory/Archive.asp. In some systems it may also appear in the Inventory navigation. |
| Review archived lots | Use the grid search, sorting, and filter controls. |
| Amend an archived lot | Click the edit icon in the first column of a row. |
| Return an eligible lot | Open the amend popup and click Return if the button is available. |
An item reaches this workflow after it is marked DC in the item master. In Inventory Overview, discontinued items appear under the Discontinued filter.
Archived Units is the lot-level view for those discontinued items. Instead of showing one summary row per item, it shows individual archived lot records with fields such as receive and issue references, dates, status, warehouse, location, and remarks.
If you need to stop using an item, change its DC flag in the item master. If you need to review or correct a specific archived lot, use Archived Units.
The page heading is Archived Units and the grid is backed by the archive report surface for this module.
You can search by these validated fields:
The grid supports column sorting, report filters, and these exports:
The page is scoped to the current warehouse, so you may not see archived lots from other warehouses.
Item IDs in the grid are plain text. To open a record, click the edit icon in the first column.
The popup lets you review the archived lot and amend lot-level details such as:
This is a lot-record correction tool. It does not change the discontinued status of the item master.
Some archived lots show a Return button in the popup. When available, Return moves that specific archived lot back to active inventory.
Keep these limits in mind:
If you need to make the item active again in normal item views, update the item master separately by clearing the DC flag.
