Mobile Inventory Operations

The Inventory menu covers the most common daily stock operations. This page covers Search, Receive, Issue, and Move. Transit Stock, Scanner Issue, and Cycle Count are separate screens referenced here only as boundaries.

Search Inventory

Use Search Inventory to find items, check stock levels, and open item details.

Filters

The search table opens with three default filter rows: Item ID, Description, and Location. Each row has a field dropdown, a value box, and a remove icon. Use the +/- controls to add or remove rows and narrow the result set.

If you pick Location, a Select dropdown also appears to pick a location from a list.

Search Steps

  1. Tap Inventory > Search Inventory.
  2. Adjust the default filter rows or add more if needed.
  3. Tap Search, or tap Scan to fill the item from a barcode.

Results

Results appear as cards showing the item and location heading with Description and Available quantity. Use the Columns to display… toggle to show or hide additional columns. Use Previous and Next to page through large result sets.

Tap the info icon on a result card to open Item Details. The Item Details page shows additional stock information and lot-level records. Its footer includes Photo and Barcode actions.

Other Inventory Screens

Transit Stock moves items to a different warehouse. Use it when the destination is not in the current warehouse.

Scanner Issue lets you queue multiple scanned items in a Review tab before issuing them together.

Tips

  • Confirm you are in the correct warehouse before starting any transaction.
  • Scan location barcodes instead of typing to reduce entry errors.
  • Double-check serial and lot entries before submitting. Corrections after posting require a manual adjustment.
