Utilities & Settings

The main menu and context panel give you tools for troubleshooting, cache management, and reviewing transaction history.

Settings

Open Settings from the context panel. Three buttons are available:

Test SignatureOpens a signature capture test pad
Reset CacheClears and reloads the local data cache. Pending transactions are not affected.
Clear TransactionsRemoves all locally queued transactions. The cache is not affected.

Use Reset Cache when data looks stale but you still have pending work to submit. Use Clear Transactions only when you want to discard queued transactions.

Reload vs Reset Cache vs Clear Transactions

Clear Transactions (Settings)Removes all locally queued transactions

Reload is a quick refresh available from the context panel. Reset Cache clears and reloads cached data. Clear Transactions does not affect the cache.

Audit Trail

Audit Trail is accessible from the main menu. Use it to review a chronological history of transactions in the mobile app.

Use the Select Date Range dropdown to filter results:

Use the search box to filter the list. Use Previous and Next to page through entries.

Error Log

Open Error Log from the main menu to see errors logged by the app.

Each server-side error entry shows:

  • Date recorded and the associated user
  • A description of the error
  • The command that triggered it

Use Previous and Next to page through entries.

The first page also includes a Client Data section with local diagnostic information:

A Download Log link appears in this section when client logs are available. Use it when sharing diagnostics with your administrator.

Unsent Transactions

Open Unsent Transactions from the main menu to see transactions that are queued locally but have not yet reached the server.

The screen includes a search box. If no transactions are waiting, the screen shows No Unsent Transactions found.

If entries appear here, review Error Log before deciding how to proceed.

Context Panel

The context panel is available from any screen. It contains:
