Shipping Dashboard

Shipping Dashboard is a read-only overview page for the shipping area. It combines open-order tables, KPI value blocks, a schedule calendar, and summary charts so users can review shipping activity quickly and open related records from the dashboard.

Access: Orders -> Shipping -> Dashboard

Order Tables

The dashboard includes two open-order tables. In both tables, clicking the order opens the related record.

Orders By FIFO

Shows the top open shipping orders sorted by created date.

The table includes:

  • Order
  • Created
  • Scheduled
  • Status

Past-due scheduled dates are highlighted.

Orders By Scheduled Date

Shows the top open shipping orders sorted by scheduled date using the same core columns.

KPI Values

The dashboard shows these summary values:

ValueMeaning
Open OrdersOpen, uncanceled shipping orders
On TimeOrders currently on time against scheduled date
Past DueOrders whose scheduled date has passed
BackordersOpen orders that are not fully available
Orders this MonthCurrent-month order count
Last MonthPrevious-month order count
Avg. LeadAverage lead time across recent orders
Avg. QtyAverage quantity across shipping-order data

Scheduled Orders Calendar

The Scheduled Orders calendar displays both shipping orders and work orders on the same calendar.

Use it to:

  • review scheduled activity by date
  • switch between calendar views
  • open a linked order or work-order record from the event

Charts

The dashboard includes these charts:

ChartUse
Orders by CustomerShows open-order distribution by customer
Inventory VelocityShows received-versus-issued inventory activity
Monthly SalesShows monthly sales trend

The Orders by Customer widget supports multiple chart-style views.

What the Dashboard Does Not Do

The page does not provide:

  • widget customization
  • alert configuration
  • dashboard filters
  • batch processing tools
  • carrier-management tools
  • customer-service utilities

Use the main shipping pages for transaction work instead of treating the dashboard as a control center.
