Quick Orders are a fast entry path for standard shipping orders. Choose a warehouse and customer, add items to the cart, review the staged lines, and place the order.
| Platform | Path | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Desktop | Orders → Shipping → Quick Order | Creates a standard shipping order |
| Mobile | Shipping → Quick Order | Creates a standard shipping order |
For downstream desktop fulfillment, see Shipping Orders. For shared mobile fulfillment steps, see Mobile Orders.
Quick Orders use a cart model:
The desktop cart is database-backed. If you leave the page and return later, the system can restore the pending cart instead of starting over.
Common header fields:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Ship To | Required customer selection |
| Requested Date | Date requested for the order |
| Phone | Customer phone for this order |
| Contact Email | Email for this order |
| Address | Shipping address line |
| City | Shipping city |
| State | Shipping state |
| Zip | Shipping ZIP or postal code |
Desktop Quick Order has four item-list modes:
| Mode | Use |
|---|---|
| All Available Items | Full item list |
| Previously Ordered Items | Customer repeat-order view |
| Basic View All Available | Reduced-column entry view |
| Basic View Previously Ordered | Reduced-column repeat-order view |
The view selector is shown through the gear menu and is typically available only to administrator-level users. Other users get the configured default view.
The full desktop grid can include columns such as:
Basic View uses a reduced set of columns for faster entry.
Use Mobile Quick Order when you need fast order entry from the warehouse floor.
Mobile Quick Order is only the order-entry step. Issuing, picking, packing, and other fulfillment detail belong to the shared mobile shipping-order workflow. See Mobile Orders.
Use Previously Ordered Items when the customer is reordering familiar items. The list is filtered to that customer’s prior order history.
If you want the same repeat-order behavior with fewer visible columns, use Basic View Previously Ordered.
The following behaviors are confirmed for Quick Orders:
| Option | Effect |
|---|---|
| 19 | Toggles visibility of the quick-order view selector |
| 71 | Affects backorder support and zero-stock visibility |
| 164 | Sets the minimum requested date offset |
| 168 | Sets the default quick-order view |
| 173 | Sets the default search field |
| 181 | Enables item-order-limit warnings |
| 216 | Enables sales-tax calculation during desktop quick-order entry |
